Ten things Americans should have learned during the Blackout of 2003.
1. Have a land line with a phone that doesn't require electricity to operate.
2. Have a radio that runs on batteries
3. Always have a couple days supply of water
4. Always have a couple days supply of food
5. Have enough gas in your car to last a couple days.
6. Have a written copy of your address book (i.e. Outlook)
7. Candles, matches, flashlights, and batteries are good things.
9. Cash is good.
10. Have books (or other non-electrical items) on hand to entertain you.
Feel free to comment as always. Anything else more important? Anything not important? Also enjoy the new poll. :)
